Houston / Peptide care
Choose a visit, then ask how the care works
The setting is part of the choice.
At this point
If you are weighing a screen visit against a visit in a room, ask what the assessment needs before choosing a format.
The assumption
A quick online order is the same as a care visit.
What the facts show
Care given from afar is called telehealth; a video visit is one example.
As of September 2026, Texas required the care standard for online visits to match that for visits in person.
That standard means the care still has to meet the needs of the medical problem, whatever the setting.
For a visit in a room
Ask who would assess you, what records to bring and how follow-up would work.
Describe the reason for the visit before asking for a particular medicine.
For a visit on a screen
Ask how the health professional will review your history, ask more questions and arrange an exam if needed.
National medical board guidance from May 2026 rejects treatment based only on choosing a medicine from a menu.
That guidance also says patients need a route for putting their own follow-up questions to the health professional.
This national advice helps state medical boards set their rules.
Each state's own rules are the ones health professionals must follow, as of September 2026.
